We are in town visiting family and decided to give this place a try. I called for take out and unfortunately they were sold out of chicken strips, but I'm glad they were as the chicken burger was amazing! Their halibut was also super delicious! We did however have a few issues with our other food, fries were extremely salty (inedible) and there was a hair found in my husband's burger. I called the restaurant right away and explained the issues and was invited to come in for a free dinner or gift card. I went into the restaurant and Tom was great and understanding, he provided my family with a gift card. Great customer service that you don't find everywhere these days!! Will definitely try them again next time we are in town.
The view was fantastic, the burgers were pretty awesome, the onion rings great and the ranch dip AMAZING, the drinks cold and tasty. The only let down was the poutine that wasn’t really hot but the chicken burger mostly made up for that. Will absolutely be back on my next trip to Reupert!
Wow. This is such a great place to grab a meal. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food...awesome. I started with some delicious crispy buffalo wings and then i was delivered probably the best buffalo chicken burger I have had. If you are visiting Prince Rupert, you have stop here for top notch dinner service. Will definitely make a return trip.
We had halibut, fries and gravy and were impressed! The batter was thin, all their meals are made from scratch and the gravy was some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Staff and owner was very friendly and not only will we be back but this is our favourite place to eat when we come to Prince Rupert. You won’t be disappointed.
Great staff! Great food! We ordered the fried pickles to start, super tasty, crunchy, and the dip was great! For mains we ordered the hot chicken, the family, and the cheese burger all were fresh, tasty, flavourful! The gravy was a hit! The best by far! Absolutely will come back if I’m ever in Rupert again!
Amazing food, the manager and all the staff were really nice, the staff especially looked happy to be there, real smiles, cheery tones. The view was amazing we sat by the window looking over the water. Highly recommend their buffalo chicken ranch poutine. Their chicken burger was apparently also really good and so were their fish and chips~
We came to this restaurant while on a cruise. It appears to be family owned and operated & it's also the building of the oldest hotel on the island. Restaurant has been refinished & the hotel is still operating. Ordered the Halibut fish & chips. It was a delicious, crisp, thick cut of fish, not oily at all. Onions rings were the same great quality. Prime views overlooking the water. Spacious indoor seating. Also, a great bar, if you're not there for a meal. All the staff went above & beyond to make you feel welcomed & explain the menu. The owner made a couple rounds to every guest to make sure everything went well. Very glad we chose here for our adventure meal.
American cruiser here! Our cruise landed in Prince Rupert and all we were craving was poutine. We ended up stopping by due to raving reviews and recommendations from locals. The results? We were absolutely blown away!! If you like AMAZING burgers and fantastic poutine, this is the place to be! The owner and workers are wonderful and informative. All the food is fresh and made to order. If and when I find myself back in Canada I will come back! This is truly a gem of a restaurant.
